Assalamualaikum and good morning everyone! Welcome to my first ever blog! Obviously, on this blog I will write and share my experience on UNGS 1201 class or well-known as Sustainable Development: Issues, Policies, and Practices.
This is my first time studying this subject, so I will try my best to share my thoughts. This class was held once a week on every Friday at 11.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. Even this is my first time joining this class, but I am so enjoyed the learning process with my new classmates and lecturer. Before starting our class, Dr. Razinah welcomed us and gives encouragement for us to get an A in this subject. It gives positive way to me.
At first, Dr. Razinah explained well regarding the assignments and marking. Then we started with what is system thinking and why need to use it like from traditional thinking to system thinking. With system thinking, we manage to come out our own project and a solutions that related to issues. We be able to reset our thinking and value your understanding. We also can apply it to our surrounding.
Then we move deeper to the beginning of sustainable development. We learn how system thinking relates to sustainable development. Dr. Razinah insert many easy examples for us to understand. We can see how they come up a solution for polluted river. Using three components that are important and related to each other which is environmental, social, and economy to find solutions in sustainable development problems. We also learned the international framework of sustainable development.
Therefore, I can conclude that sustainable development builds a strong, competitive economy and it can contribute to enhancing and protecting our natural and developed our environment. By using natural resources wisely, it can help to improve our biodiversity in this world. Besides, by providing supplies of housing required in future, we can have supporting strong, vibrant and healthy communities.
That's all from me today. I will be back posting something new for my next class. I hope you will look forward my next posting. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Stay tune!😊
